You might be asking yourself why there's no traffic in your campaign after using the Android/iOS version targeting. The answer is, you might be using the wrong symbols. Take a look!

When creating a campaign, all OS will be selected by default, and in consequence all its versions will be targeted as well. In case you want a specific selection of them, you'll need to:

  1. Choose your OS version choice (you can select more than one), in Targeting

  2. Choose your versions of choice, in Advanced Targeting

Please take note that you can either include or exclude specific versions from your campaigns. This works both for Android and iOS versions. Here's an example:

Include Android (9.0+): means all versions, from 9 onwards will be included

  • version 4,5,6,7 and 8 are not included. There's no need to exclude them.

Include Android (9.x): means only version 9 will be included

  • Only version 9 is included. There's no need to exclude the other ones.

Exclude Android (9.0+): means all versions from 9 onwards will be excluded

  • Only versions 4,5,6,7 and 8 are included. There's no need to include them.

Exclude Android (9.x): means only version 9 will be excluded

  • Means all versions except 9 are included.
