Understanding campaign budget limitations and why your campaigns may not be active

Are you facing difficulties activating your campaign when you have enough funds for that campaign?

It could be due to our budget allocation limit. It prevents you from activating more campaigns when the sum of their daily budgets exceeds that of your total funds. Let's look at an example to better understand.

Let's say you have 100$ in your account. That means you can not have 6 different campaigns running with daily budgets of $20 each because the sum would equal $120, $20 more than your available funds.

What to do if this happens to you.

If this happens to you there are a number of things you can do to get your campaign active.

  1. The first is to simply add more money to your account so that it is greater than the sum of all your campaigns. Once added you will be able to set your campaign live.

  2. Another way is to pause some of your other existing campaigns in order to reduce the sum of your total daily budgets. It is also possible to decrease the daily budgets of your other campaigns in order to reduce the sum of all your campaigns daily budget.

  3. The last option you have is to reduce the daily budget of your new campaign so that the sum of all your daily campaign budgets falls below your total available funds.

We added this feature to help keep you aware if you will exceed your daily budget for each day and to better manage campaign spend. If you have any questions please reach out to your account manager.
